I became interested in nutrition during my senior year of high school. My primary goal was gaining muscle and it’s applications to sports performance. During college I was able to gain 40 pounds of muscle. It wasn’t until after my father had passed away from a heart attack that I truly began studying nutrition, and its effects on the body at a cellular level. My family is the product of the typical western diet. I began to examine the effect of the lack of plant based nutrition has on the body, and initially using myself as an observational tool for my personal science project.

God, work ethic and nutrition have been the key factors in my success as a professional athlete. Nutrition is key for peak performance as an athlete ages, and performance depends on the body’s health and efficiency at a cellular level. Health is more complex than simply eating some protein, fat and carbohydrates, but understanding how a number of components affect your body.

It is my hope that you will benefit from the information in this website and take a holistic approach to your health and wellness. It is my goal to help you improve your nutritional choices, increase fitness, optimize sleep and reduce stress. These are all key factors in a life of longevity.
